If it makes you feel better, Reno area is on my list of places to try and get a staff position with the alt-weekly in the near future. And I usually get two tickets to these kind of things. The bad part is that I still don't know anyone in Seattle. But I do know someone in the Reno area that might want to hit some shows.
You are again, my hero. Five years ago, did you ever imagine going to Ozzfest, with a press pass? Knowing you, you probably did. I'm continually impressed with the places you get to.
Actually, no. This time 5 years ago I was cleaning toilets at Raley's and trying to write as much as I could for a magazine that died a short time later.
